How to apply
Mobility Managed Adaptations Programme
If you are in receipt of the high rate mobility component of the Disability Living Allowance then you may be entitled to a free assessment under this programme. You will need to contact the customer services team at Motability and ask them to refer you to us for an assessment. If you are unsure if you qualify for this type of assessment then please contact us.

Self Referral
This assessment is available if you have been recommended to attend the centre by a health professional or you wish to refer yourself. The self referral fee is subsidised by the Department for Transport. If you are in receipt of the high rate of Disability Living Allowance please refer to the Motability Managed Adaptations Programme information.
The fee for a driving assessment is £80. The fee for an Access / WAV assessment is £20.

The Regional Driving Assessment Centre (RDAC) was set up in 1989 as part of the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre as part of the NHS.
