Driving Instructors

The RDAC has its own force of driving assessors who do assessments for people with disabilities. However we are always on the lookout for driving instructors in the areas we cover to provide tuition in either manual or automatic cars.

For those who have not taught people with disabilities before we can offer a training course to give you insight into medical conditions, vehicle adaptations and also the legal requirements for those with a medical condition. You can be added to our list of instructors whom we are able to recommend to clients once the course has been completed successfully.

The RDAC from time to time may also require extra assessors to work at its centres and would normally offer these positions to those instructors who have attended one of our courses. Those who want to become assessors would have specialist training over and above that given to them on the instructor courses before being allowed to assess clients.

For more information please contact the admin team at our Birmingham office.
