Special Assistance

Port Of Hull – 50 minutes from Scunthorpe

Disabled facilities are available in the Ferry Terminal & onboard the Ferries. Assistance with boarding is also available upon request when booking.

Please phone 01482 377177 for further information.

If you have a disability, reduced mobility, a medical condition or just need extra help, you can contact Port of Hull to talk through your needs.

Once you’ve made your booking, contact the company as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours before you travel.

They will assess your needs and ensure that they can be met on your chosen sailing – this includes bringing any specialist equipment on board.

Should they be unable to help, they will explain why and may ask you to travel on an alternative sailing.

If you can’t advise them in advance, they will do their best to allow you to travel as soon as possible after you arrive at the port. However, this may mean your departure is delayed and assistance can’t be guaranteed.

P & O Ferries Accessible Travel

P&O Ferries want to ensure all passengers have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sailing with us, particularly those who may require additional assistance. That’s why we are dedicated to ensuring we can accommodate our passenger’s needs and special requirements as best we can.

If you or someone you are travelling with has a disability, hidden disability, or reduced mobility, you will need to advise us of the level of assistance that you will require for your travel when you make your booking. This will allow our teams to ensure we can accommodate your needs ahead of your journey with us, so you can have a safe and enjoyable experience.
